Role Overview

Are you passionate about football and skilled in administration? AFC Fylde is looking for a dedicated Football Administrator to play a key role in the smooth running of our Academy and Junior Teams. This is your chance to be at the heart of our club’s operations, ensuring everything off the pitch runs as smoothly as it does on it.

What You’ll Be Doing

Registrations and Compliance

• Responsible for all registration of Academy and Junior players in line with league and competition guidelines
• Ensure regulatory compliance with all league and FA rules, communicating requirements to Club's staff
• Act as the point of contact for all administrative matters

Educating and Safeguarding 

• Lead contact for the Academy Education programme, ensuring contract compliance
• Liaise with the Coach's and Head of Football Administration to ensure full compliance with all safeguarding policies and procedures
• Ensure DBS checks are carried out on all employees on a paid or voluntary basis who comes into contacts with the players and students through the academy

Financial Reporting

• Process and collate financial documentation for the Academy and Junior teams
• Ensure standing orders are set up for all Academy and Junior players 
• Provide a weekly and monthly financial summary to the Academy Manager and Group Chairman 
• Take on new tasks as required and instructed by the Academy Manager

About You

Experience

• Prior experience in team operations/ administration
• Minimum five years of related experience
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc)
